On December 26th, 2011, the night after Christmas, Venus and the slender crescent Moon aligned to gather for a conjunction. This view over the old town of Zurich from the Terrace in front of Grossmünster accross the river Limmat documents this heavenly event. From left to right: Helmhaus, Münsterbrücke, Stadthaus, Fraumünster, Zunfthaus zur Meise, St. Peter Chruch and Hotel Storchen.
