A telescopic view of the Bernina - the Banquet Hall of the Alps Piz Nair, St. Moritz
Over a time span of ten years the Engadin gets snow at least once in every month. This time it was mid July when a north-western cold front pushed aside a low laying moisture-ladden layer of air. The result unveiled freshly powdered marvelous mountain tops with snow and lavish greens in the valleys.
